Basic through Advanced Instruction |

We offer a complete instruction package that will take you from your beginner rating through your advanced rating.
Our instruction consists of a tandem flight, hands-on practice on a training hill, classroom-style ground school, simulations, and progressive coaching of thermalling, soaring and cross country (XC) techniques. We provide all equipment required during training. All classes are held at local Bay Area sites and as your training comes to a close we will introduce you to various Northern California flying sites, providing you with thorough site introductions to get flying safely. The complete beginner-through-advanced package is $2100. New students must commit to attending the first three weekends of the course, and miss no more than one weekend in a row for the remainder of basic training. Our students are carefully screened for success. They must show a serious commitment to mastering the basic paragliding skills and have a positive attitude regarding safe flying. We are looking for students who have a commitment to understanding the sport and know that paragliding must become a part of their lives! We have found that successful paraglider pilots have many of the following attributes:
- An interest in aviation, nature and the outdoors and/or other adventure sports;
- The ability and motivation to devote the necessary time and resources to completing the basic training continuing on to becoming advanced paraglider pilots;
- An understanding of risk management and how it relates to our sport;
- A desire to continue to understand relevant subjects such as aerodynamics and micrometeorology
- A willingness to share information and help fellow pilots.
